The big moving day can be both exciting and a tedious affair so Man and Van East London are here to improve the day and reduce any extra hassles. One of the most important things to think about whilst moving is your appetite, therefore it is important to register how to conquer your hunger in transition.
Rule one, it is time to order take-out! Whilst relocating you quite often forget to perpare food and don’t have access to a fully functioning kitchen, so it is time to relax allow someone else to cook for you. The Lighter side of moving with Man And Van East London
Here at Man and Van East London we completely realise how stressful moving to a new home can be. So, in the spirit of finding all sorts of ways to make the job easier for you, Man and Vans thought we’d share some house moving humour.
A husband and wife are moving home and starting to pack. The husband finds a box under the bed, pulls it out and looks inside. He finds two eggs and about £8,000 in cash. When he asks his wife first what the eggs are for, she says, “Every time I cheat on you I put an egg in the box.” So he replies, “Well, it could be worse – you’ve only cheated on me twice.” But when he asks what the money is for his wife replies, “Every time I get a dozen eggs, I sell them!”
According to comedian George Carlin, a house is just somewhere to keep all your stuff in. His philosophy is that, if you don’t need stuff you can just walk around all the time. Or what about this moving tip? A man is moving home and he’s struggling to carry his wardrobe single-handedly up the path to the new place. A neighbour asks if he needs any help, and he replies: “No thanks, I’ve got all the help I need…my brother’s inside carrying the clothes.”
While we can’t promise that employees of Man and Van East London won’t share some equally bad jokes with you, remember they’re only trying to help you see the lighter side of moving.

Man and Van East London Loves Spitalfields
We’ve always said that no job is too big or too small for the Man and Van East London’s crew.
We really got thinking about this the other day when one of our Man and Vans family friends mentioned he was heading down to Spitalfields Market near Liverpool Street to do some face painting on a Sunday morning. You see, it really is the little things that make a difference.
Gary, recounted his story to us last Friday in the pub, following the weekend that he’d spent trading at the market. All was well and good, except he did have a tricky time getting all his stuff from A to B (you’d be surprised how much you need to make a kid’s face look pretty, he added), and lugging it all back home after the event was not too much fun, either.
He suggested we write a little blog letting any market stall holders know that Man and Van East London really could help save them not only time and money, but arm ache after lugging everything back home after a long day with the punters.
So here it is. If you’d like any more information about how Man and Van East London might be able to help move your stuff, whether it’s a face-painting stall or something completely different, please do get in touch. One of our friendly Man and Vans team will be on hand to help.
