Do You Move Pianos?

Should I Tip My Movers?
As with many service industries, if you wish to thank the movers for a job well done by tipping them, please do so. However it is not a requirement.
Do I Have To Provide Food And Beverages For The Movers?
Providing food and beverages for your movers is not required. Read more here.
When Is The Best Day To Move?
Moving mid-month is cheaper than at the beginning or at the end of the month. Moving during the week during working hours can also lower your costs. However, if you need us to move you after hours or during the weekend, we can arrange this for you.
How Do I Ensure That My Belongings End Up In The Right Room?
Our professional movers will work closely with you to ensure that the right furniture and boxes are placed in the right rooms. At the start of the move, please tell our movers where you would your furniture to be placed. To make our job of placing your boxes in the right rooms easier, please label your boxes correctly.
Will You Move My Plants?
We can transport plants that are appropriately packaged, however, we can not guarantee safe transportation of live plants. If your plants are not packaged correctly, unfortunately they will not be loaded in our vans as they may cause a mess and damage your other furniture.
Will You Move My Pets?
Unfortunately, this is a service we can not offer. There is no safe space in our vans for your pets to ride in. They can not be transported in the front of the van for liability reasons and in the back of the van due to lack of climate control as well as the possibility of heavy objects shifting.
What Happens If I Have Not Finished Packing By My Move Date?
If your move date is fast approaching and it is clear that you will not be fully prepared by your move date, please contact Man & Vans immediately. We will attempt to work out the best possible solution to help you make your move date. We offer a service that can assist you with packaging. If small items are left to pack, our movers can help you complete this task, however, this will mean more time spent on the move and ultimately rise your removal cost. Alternatively, we can push back your removal date.
Can The Movers Arrange My Furniture To My Liking In My New Home?
Most certainly. When we deliver your furniture to your new home, the movers will work closely with you to ensure that all items and boxes are placed in the right room. We are happy to arrange and rearrange until the furniture is positioned to exactly how you want it.
How Can I Guarantee That My Prized Possessions Are Treated With Care?
Simply, point out your large prized possessions at the start of the removal process and the necessary steps will be taken to ensure that they are cared for. For your own peace of mind, you might want to consider moving small valuables yourself in your own vehicle.
Will Having A Family Member Or Friend Help On The Day Lower My Costs?
We highly recommend that you leave all the moving to us. Our professional movers have vast experience in removals and are best suited to carry the weight and negotiate the load of the truck. Having non-professionals work alongside us can slow down the removal process and cause higher costs in the long run due to this.
Will The Weather Affect My Move?
Do I Have To Empty Out My Wardrobes And Cupboard Spaces?
Generally, it is preferred if all objects are removed from cabinets especially in lateral file and wooden cabinets. However, metal or plastic 2-drawer filing cabinets can be left full. For 4-drawer metal or plastic cabinets, the two top drawers have to be emptied.
Can You Move Furniture While People Are Still Working In The Office?

Our short term storage containers are located in London whereas our long term containers are held in Gloucestershire.
How Long Before I Visit My Storage Do I Have To Give Notice?
