Here at Man and Van Clapham, we’re always interested in clever marketing tactics. And sometimes, we come across some rather interesting approaches…
Man and Van Clapham found this little internet gem and just had to share it. If you have not yet witnessed Jones’ Big Ass Truck Rental & Storage then you have not lived. This US sensation has gone viral due to his outrageous propositions and his “sincere” costumers care.
Tobias Jone’s offers a ridiculously cheap and a ridiculously hilarious alternative to storing your household goods, and it doesn’t just stop there. He will store anything you want! Guns, ceramics, sofa’s. ice cream van’s, tricycles, old video games, model trains, textbooks, antique silverware or antique anything, all for whopping $10.99 a month. It’s so cheap, you would be fool not to do so, the only problem is he does not offer services across the Atlantic Ocean and he may be intoxication, so use his services at your own risk.
The hero from Chicago has inspired us all, but unfortunately we can only offer a legal and well packaged service. Jones is the guy that everyone wants to know or at least witness in the flesh but maybe, just maybe not trust him to file my divorce, give you advice on you tax returns or let him near any of your valuables. His inspirational characteristics have spread across the internet like forest fire, so we thank Jones for blessing us with his holy knowledge. From his legal advice to the daycare academy, he has the Man and Van Clapham team in stitches every time. To view all his videos: http://www.jonesbigasswebsiteandmerchandisecenter.com

PACKING PROPERLY WITH MAN AND VAN CLAPHAM
Man and Van Clapham believe packing is most important on your move day
Man and Van Clapham would like to share a few helpful tips for people getting their goods ready for the all important move. It is not just a case of hoping all items can be squeezed into one of our Luton vans. It can be quite a game of tetris to fill a van correctly this is why packing is important. Some common household items like pictures, ironing boards, folded chairs don’t need to be packed up as they slide easily into leftover crevasses in between boxes.
What makes a removal’s job easier is to box up all the loose and small items. A solid cardboard box supplied by Man and Van Clapham is the recommended material. Taped up securely at the top and bottom, this makes lifting and stacking the item all the more easier. Also to box up all smaller and loose items helps with less trips from the house to the Luton when loading or unloading. The quicker we get done on the day can only help to save you money. If you’d like any materials ahead of your move day them Man and Vans can provide these. For a list of what packing materials we can offer, click here. You can also see our Man and Vans pricing at www.manandvans.com/our-pricing/
The team at Man and Van Clapham are also more than happy to help you pack items as they know it makes things easier. Be sure to pack smartly as well, ordering large boxes and filling them full of books makes them impossible for anyone to lift. The same also goes for the kitchen, plates and fragile items should be put into small boxes for easier and safe transportation. Man and Vans are here to make your move easier so if you have any further questions don’t hesitate to give us a call.
Man and Van Clapham on Disinfecting A New Home Naturally
Man and Van Clapham has an experience with moving people to all kinds of locations and often we find our customers very surprised at the conditions they find their new home in.
Man with a Van has some suggestions for those of you that are not happy with the hygiene of your new house. We know that when you have all your boxes in the new place the last thing you want is to spray it with bleach or other strong chemicals and that is why we can offer you a natural, Eco friendly way of disinfecting your new home. It will take about two days to put the house in the state you will like it to be – clean and fresh smelling. All you have to buy are some natural ingredients:
1) Baking soda – it is not toxic and is a part of all recipes for natural cleaning. It will absorb foul smells and dissolve grime.
2) Salt – if you dilute salt in water, you can clean stains and get out any burnt or stuck mess on your carper.
3) White Vinegar – you can use it as a natural way of removing mold, instead of heavy chemicals. It will disinfect and get rid of bacteria and germs. If you have ants in the house it will take care of them too.
4) Lemons – a natural way of leaving your house smelling fresh and new. Lemons can be used instead of bleach, because of their natural acids.
Man and Van Clapham will be back next week with more tips on natural cleaning.
