Man and Vans London meets loved ones at the airport

June 23rd, 2010
man and vans London can help with pick ups 150x150We’re all busy these days, working long hours to pay the bills, and then trying to sociable with our colleagues/chums after work, before running home to see the significant other/the kids, to kiss them goodnight and possibly read a story (to the kids, that is. Usually, anyhow). We want to make sure everyone feels loved and treasured, which isn’t always so easy to do with such time constraints, which is how Man and Vans London can help.
If your family are planning on taking a trip away, and you simply cannot find a way to weasel out of work to collect them from the airport, let us do the hard work so you don’t have to. Following a unique and exciting enquiry from a client last week, we can now officially say that our guys will take any selected pets (provided they come with the appropriate carrying/transporting equipment) to any airport, and collect passengers at the other end, with the aforementioned animals there to give an extra special and welcoming surprise. It’s not quite the same as having you there, but it’s a pretty good substitute until you’re able to escape the office.
So if you’re looking to treat the ones you love to a welcome home that they’ll not forget in a hurry, and of course get some extra brownie points for your own thoughtfulness, please do get in touch and we can help arrange it for you. We look forward to hearing from you!

Man and Vans and Snuffles the Python

June 2nd, 2010
man and vans London could move your python 150x150It was a regular Wednesday afternoon in the Man and Vans London office…at least it was until we received something of an usual request. “Do you move rare species of animals?” inquired a potential customer over the livechat application on our website, “As I have a python and a tarantula who need taking somewhere”. After a little thinking and discussion around the office, yes, said we, as long as they are in a secure box and can travel safely in the back of the van without supervision. “Hmmm”, quoth the potential customer, “thing is, Snuffles, the python, is afraid of the dark”. It was at this point we got a little suspicious (we later found out it was our Soph playing a little joke on us, what a card she is), but it did get us thinking.
If you have any animals you need moving, and are able to take full responsibility for their comfort and safety whilst they travel with us, then please do get in touch and we’ll be able to talk through carrying your kitty, or moving your mouse. If they are afraid of the dark, however, it does make the whole process a little tricky…
