When Guido Fawkes was caught, fuse in hand, under the Houses of Parliament standing next to enough gunpowder to destroy half of Westminister he must have thought that things couldn’t get much worse. He’d not managed to blow up King James I, the Gunpowder plot had failed in the conspiracy to end the government and he was about to be tortured to death. Then again he did manage to leave a legacy in the form of bonfire night. Guy would have been happy being hung, drawn and quartered knowing that every 5th November we celebrate his monumental failure by setting effigies of him on fire and representing what he should have done by shooting fireworks into the air.

Yes its bonfire night and Man and Vans, London’s original light removals service, wants to celebrate by letting you know the best displays across London which you can enjoy with Man and Vans.

Sunday 1st November – Man and Van Wandsworth will enjoying the fireworks at Clapham Common. This massive display will kick off around half past seven and include a huge burning bonfire complete with Guy himself.

Thursday 5th November – The Victoria Park display should provide Man and Van Hackney with a mid week treat of fireworks with friends. This East London display is a London institution and promise to be as spectacular as ever (The date of the Victoria Park display is subject to change).

Saturday 7th November – Those of you in West London can enjoy this bonfire night in Ravenscourt Park with Man and Van Hammersmith. The display should begin at eight pm. Food and drink will be available to those wanting to raise a cheer as the sky’s lights up.

Man and Van London encourages the safe use of fireworks. Keep out of the reach of children.

Hi Matt, Apologies for the delay. I'd been meaning to get in touch to thank you and say how impressed I was with every stage of your service. Even with all the packaging I bought elsewhere, the whole move cost about one third of what Pickfords had quoted me! Will certainly add a review on Google but on a personal note I wanted to express our gratitude, particularly to Tomasz and Dan, who were absolutely brilliant throughout. Their combination of good humour, professionalism, strength and stamina made what could have been a very difficult move relatively painless. In particular, Tomasz's patience and ingenuity in getting the base unit of our French dresser through a door/hallway that were far too small for it went above and beyond what one would normally expect from even the most expensive removals company. I'm hoping that we won't be moving again for a while yet, but rest assured that when we do, I'll give you a call. Apart from anything else I'm not sure anyone but Tomasz will be able to get the dresser out through that door again! Best wishes and many thanks,
